We are now waiting for Hermine to do its thing and move on. Although now, it appears we won't be affected too bad. A cloudy windy day. It would be nice if we at least get some rain out of all this but I fear we won't even get that. Maybe a few light showers on and off throughout the day. Just a tease. Can't remember a summer so dry. In any case, we have pulled in all the beach and deck furniture, kayaks, and such. Making sure it is all safe in the event of another "event". Leaving town in September is always iffy.
Below is our itinerary up until we leave Dublin to tour. After that we have a rough idea of where we are headed but we are free of any reservations, so where we land is anybody's guess.

- 9/10-17 Bike/Sail the Amalfi Coast and the Islands
- 9/17-19 Hotel Partenope Relais, Naples, It
- 9/19 Depart Naples 12:25pm Aer Lingus flight 451 to Dublin
- 9/19-21 Grafton House B&B, Dublin, Ireland
- 9/21 Pick up rental car & tour south
- 9/28 Depart Shannon 11:40am Aer Lingus Flight 135
- 9/28 Arrive Logan 1:30pm
We are looking forward to the beauty of the Amalfi Coast. As well as the contrast of the Ireland Coast. There was some talk as to staying in Italy for our post cruise. However, after this winter's tour of the Middle East, we have seen enough Roman ruins for a while. Driving through green countryside with no real destination sounded like a choice. We'll find out.
As far as communication is concerned, we know we have internet at the hotels. However, we are not so sure about the ship. In that event, I won't be able to post anything until we are back in Naples.
